Four, 10′ x 8′ pre-tensioned H-pilings were produced for Delaware Department of Transportation in conjunction with our production partner Precast Systems Engineering in Allentown, NJ.
Arizona Bridge Closing
Cor-Tuf helped to close one of a dozen bridges in Phoenix that cross a vast system of aqueducts. Over a course of nearly 10 hours (well into the night), this bridge was joined by pouring CT-25 UHPC in the gaps between the deck panels.
FDOT Flexural Testing Press
Aerial and eye-level views of our flexural testing press conducted in coordination with the Florida Department of Transportation. Only one failure point was observed in the flexural testing press, devoid of extreme radiating cracking.
Richmond Bridge Closure
See how Cor-Tuf UHPC was used to complete a RT-64 bridge closure in Richmond, VA. By pouring Cor-Tuf UHPC in the joints between bridge deck panels, the structure is solidified, strengthened, and fused together.
Piling Installation & Testing in Leesburg, FL
In this test, we’re installing our 18”x18”x100’ piling into the ground with D36 and D62 hammers. During testing, we monitored the vertical stresses delivered to the piling during installation with a similar suite of monitoring sensors as we did in the flexural testing.
FDOT Pre-Tensioned Piling Tests
Two pre-tensioned pilings filled with Cor-Tuf UHPC for testing were tested by the Florida Department of Transportation and the University of Florida. Each piling measures 18” x 18” x 30’.
New Jersey Bridge Closure
Cor-Tuf worked with NJDoT to close a small bridge in Allentown. Like all closures, we poured CT-25 UHPC in the joints between the top deck bridge panels to join them together. This bridge serves as our first completed in NJ and as a test case for many more to come.
H-Piling Production at Dura-Stress
See our H-Piling installation and testing conducted at Dura-Stress, Inc. in Leesburg, Florida. For this installation, we used industry standard equipment to create two 30”x30”x30’ Cor-Tuf UHPC beams.
