Integrated Composite Construction Systems, LLC (ICCS), doing business as Cor-Tuf, is the only licensed producer of Cor-Tuf UHPC, originally developed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (patent US 8016938 B2) to meet the need for a tougher, yet lighter material for protecting personnel and weapons facilities.
The engineers and construction experts at Cor-Tuf have extended the usability of the product, to the point where it can be mixed, transported, and poured using standard concrete-production methods and machinery—including ready mix trucks, mobile batch plants, and standard power screeds.

Contractors can also use their own sand and cement, which reduces cost and logistics complexity. Cor-Tuf CT25 is also available in small batches via the company’s Small Batch Kit, which can be used for very strong and long-lasting repairs.

“There are so many ways that federal entities can use Cor-Tuf CT25,” says president Rich Burgess, “including large-scale construction projects, bridge overlays, and concrete repairs. We are proud to be able to offer it now through GSA.”

EXTREME WEATHER RESISTANCE

Resistant to harsh environmental conditions

Heat, cold, salt, and water can cause cracks and divots

Cor-Tuf CT25 has 10 times the compressive strength of traditional concrete.

Cor-Tuf CT25 has an estimated longevity of more than 100 years, versus 15-25 years for traditional concrete.

Cor-Tuf CT25 has been shown to withstand more than 1,000 freeze/thaw cycles with no damage whatsoever.

Cor-Tuf UHPC is also impervious to water and resistant to other harsh environmental conditions. These qualities make Cor-Tuf UHPC ideal for traditional uses of concrete, such as bridge construction and repair, as well as new applications of concrete, such as contemporary designs that require thinner components or complex shapes. The exceptional durability of Cor-Tuf UHPC delivers a total life-cycle cost that is lower than traditional concrete while delivering added benefits of safety, resiliency, and energy efficiency.
Cor-Tuf CT25 can be used in a wide range of applications including pre- and post-tensioned structural component construction, precast panels, field-cast structural connections, wear surface overlays, marine installations, injection and extrusion techniques, tilt-up construction, blast and corrosion resistance, cast-in-place joints, and many others.
The Cor-Tuf GSA contract can be found in the GSA eLibrary under contract #47QSMA23D08NM.
