Born on the Battlefield.
Built for the Real World.
Traditional concrete falls short – limited lifespans, high maintenance costs, and poor resistance to harsh conditions.
To overcome these challenges, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invented a patented UHPC – engineered to withstand blasts, ballistic impacts, and extreme environments. Cor-Tuf has taken that innovation further, making UHPC practical for real-world use.
Cor-Tuf UHPC is versatile, cost-effective, and simple to use – designed to be batched, transported, and poured with standard equipment at scale just like traditional concrete. Cor-Tuf UHPC delivers unmatched strength and simplicity across projects of every size, from large-scale infrastructure work to small cast-in-place jobs – while being far easier to work with than other UHPC products.
With Cor-Tuf, UHPC is no longer experimental – it’s a proven, scalable solution ready for the toughest challenges in modern construction.
What Sets Cor-Tuf UHPC Apart
While the ingredients used to manufacture Cor-Tuf UHPC are about 80% the same as traditional concrete, it’s the innovative remaining 20% that makes all of the difference. Our proprietary pre-blended constituents combine with local masonry sand, Portland cement, and steel fibers to create the easiest UHPC to work with.
Unlike other UHPC’s, Cor-Tuf can be mass produced, mixed, transported and poured using conventional concrete equipment, That means no specialty mixers, no on-site hand batching, and no added complexity, making Cor-Tuf the ideal UHPC for infrastructure, precast, ready-mix, utility structures and more.
Built for Extreme Strength & Longevity
- 10x Stronger than Conventional Concrete – No UHPC is stronger: 25,000+ psi compressive, 1,250+ psi tensile, 3,000 psi flexural.
- Century-Long Service Life – Provides 100+ years of durability, cutting replacement cycles by two-thirds.
- Proven & Compliant – Meets ASTM and AASHTO standards, giving engineers confidence in design and performance.
- Resilient in Harsh Environments – Near-zero permeability provides best-in-class chloride resistance and protects against freeze/thaw cycles, salt, and chemical attack.
- Controlled Curing – Engineered to achieve full strength development while avoiding the micro-fracturing and reduced lifespans common in rapid-setting UHPCs.
- Seamless Durability – Dense, non-porous matrix eliminates ASR (Alkali-Silica Reaction) deterioration and allows discontinuous pours without expansion joints, creating longer-lasting, low-maintenance structures.
Fastest and Easiest to Mix, Place & Scale
- Standard Equipment Ready – Mix, transport, and pour with ready-mix plants and trucks. Works seamlessly with Tuckerbilt dispensers, skid-steer auger buckets, screeding equipment, and more – no special equipment, staging, or specialty crews required.
- Quickest Mix in the Category – Batches in just 8–12 minutes, with 100+ minutes of workability off spout and a 5+ hour batch life for maximum flexibility.
- Reliable & Efficient Placement – Self-consolidating mix flows into congested areas without vibration, fully encapsulates rebar, and enables continuous pours to shorten closures.
- Weather & Storage Friendly – Performs in the same conditions as conventional concrete needing only silo storage prior to project start. No ice required – preventing brittleness, weak spots, and truck drum damage.
- Consistent Quality – Uniform, repeatable results every time — siloed and mixed at ready-mix plants for batch-to-batch reliability.
Lower Lifecycle Costs
- Minimal Maintenance – Since more than 75% of DOT budgets are spent on maintenance, Cor-Tuf UHPC saves agencies millions over a structure’s lifespan with overlays and joints that dramatically reduce long-term upkeep.
- Transparent Pricing – All-inclusive, with none of the hidden costs that come with other UHPCs — extra storage, site staging, traffic control, higher waste, or lost productivity.
- American-Sourced – Dependable domestic supply chain delivers shorter lead times and fewer delays.
- Local Materials – Uses local sand and cement (unlike many competing UHPCs), reducing shipping costs.
- Less Steel Fiber – Achieves superior strength with only 265 lbs of steel fiber compared to 325 lbs in other mixes — reducing cost, weight, and wear on equipment.
- Reduced Waste – Easier to handle with less leftover product.
- Easy Cleanup – Cleans up like standard concrete; drums wash out quickly with no extra steps.
Design Flexibility & Faster Delivery
- Accelerates builds with prefabricated elements, simplified footings/supports, and reduced material requirements.
- Fits seamlessly into industrial precast facilities and large infrastructure projects to small cast-in-place projects by using local materials and standard equipment.
- Enables thinner sections, lighter designs, and reduced rebar complexity for innovative geometries.
- Buy-American compliant for federal and state projects.

What Makes UHPC Ultra-High Performance
UHPC achieves its superior performance through a dense nano-scale matrix that is far less permeable than conventional concrete. This matrix is combined with steel fiber reinforcement, which provides exceptional ductility and crack resistance.
Though exact formulations and results vary by producer, UHPC generally incorporates a blend of Portland cement, sand, supplementary cementitious materials, chemical admixtures, and fibers – resulting in a material dramatically stronger, tougher, and longer lasting than traditional concrete.
Our UHPC Mixes
Cor-Tuf provides two ultra-high-performance concrete formulations, each engineered to meet the demands of modern construction. Both deliver exceptional strength and durability, while giving project teams flexibility to balance performance and sustainability requirements.
